Paint a rock and display it in one of our frames and help the Mill Road Community Rock Garden grow.
Since October 2022, local community groups have been painting rocks to create a ‘kindness rock garden’. The painted rocks have been beautifully displayed in recycled frames, transforming a piece of unloved land into a place everyone can enjoy. The garden is located outside Ditchburn Place on Mill Road.
You can spot all sorts of different designs from slogans of encouragement, to cartoon characters to birds and animals and flowers.
Rock painting is easy and accessible to everyone. You can find instructions for painting rocks for the Mill Road Kindness Rock Garden here.
