Mill Road Fringe: Poetry Evening – October 2022
Hosted by the wonderful Lottie Walker, a poetry evening at Thrive Café drew a huge crowd. Some of the poets who read their work were established writers, but for some it was their first time and the event followed a creative writing workshop at the Edge Café which introduced one of the evening’s poets. A pop-up sale by Mill Road’s Amnesty Bookshop provided opportunities to browse between wonderful poetry and some poignant performances. We hope to do it again in 2023
