Mill Road Saturdays Celebrates Community

Following the ongoing uncertainty over Covid-19, the popular Mill Road Winter Fair has been cancelled this year. In its place the newly established Mill Road Fringe is planning Mill Road Saturdays – a series of small, Covid-safe events to be held on Donkey Common and Petersfield on Saturdays 9th October, 6th November and 4th December.

Featuring stalls, buskers and a fabulous ‘street’ of community bunting, Mill Road Saturdays will be a celebratory gateway to Mill Road’s shops, cafes and pubs. The events will be at Donkey Common and Petersfield but lines of community bunting at The Edge Cafe will also mark the Romsey Gateway to Mill Road. A closer look at the bunting will reveal an ‘I-Spy Mill Road’ trail which encourages people to explore Mill Road at their leisure, discovering the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Love Mill Road is a key sponsor, covering costs for the community bunting and I-Spy Trail projects and all the festivities at The Edge Café. Come and visit the Mill Road Fringe stall on Petersfield at each of Mill Road Saturdays to find out how you can get involved in supporting the community events organised by Mill Road Fringe, the Mill Road Winter Fair and Love Mill Road.
